💬 What’s your background within Kersia?

When I finished my Master’s degree in CSR, I was looking for a job as a project manager in the field to help analyse the impact of a group and take appropriate action to reduce it. I saw a job offer from Kersia for this position, with the aim of rolling out its CSR programme “ACT for a positive impact” across the group through various actions that matched which I was looking for. The recruitment process was quick and a few weeks after applying I signed my contract! I have been with the Group for 1 year now.

💬 How would you describe your role in 3 words ?

STRATEGY – INDICATORS – PATIENCE

💬 Talk us through a day in the life of a CSR Project Manager at Kersia?

The days vary depending on the projects in progress and the time of year. The beginning of the year, for example, is marked by the production of the Group’s CSR report: working with management on the CSRD, mobilising teams to collect data, writing, proofreading and then presenting – it’s all been a lot of hard work. The summer was more a period of updating our carbon footprint and preparing for future workshops and deliverables, while the autumn was marked by several external audits to maintain our various labels (Ecovadis and Engagé RSE, for example).

Through the year, we are also working on developing other projects, such as assessing the environmental impact of our products and creating a volunteering platform for our teams.

In addition to these projects, a fairly important part of my job is to collect and share data internally on a dedicated server to give CSR greater visibility within the Group and to facilitate access to this data and to key presentations.

More generally, my day-to-day work is very international, as I have to work with and interact with people from a wide range of backgrounds across the Group.

💬 What would you say to someone thinking of becoming a CSR Project Manager at Kersia?

I would tell her/him that the structure and dynamism of the Group leaves no room for boredom when it comes to tackling these issues! The Group is international and offers the opportunity to think about global strategies while being inspired by best practices implemented locally. However, it is important to bear in mind that change takes time, so it is necessary to learn to be patient and to prioritise the actions to be developed, both in terms of the Group’s strategic objectives and in terms of CSR regulations.

💬 Why join Kersia ?

Kersia gives young people a chance and offers a highly rewarding international environment in which to develop their skills. Several training programmes are on offer, including Committed & Different, a programme designed to develop soft skills and become an agent of internal change.

Joining Kersia also means joining a group that is constantly evolving and offers a dynamic environment with new projects emerging on a regular basis.

Thank Gary for this interview!

Want to join Kersia?
